A graduate of Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, Brent earned the CFP® professional designation at Kaplan University. He adheres to the CFP® Boards Professional Code of Ethics and continuing education requirements. He’s also an active member of the Financial Planning Association.

Brent and his wife, Shannon, live in Jackson, Michigan. They have three sons, Easton, Cortland, and Isaac, and one daughter, Isabel. He is the Treasurer for the Western School District Board of Education. Over the years, Brent has served as the Director of Baseball for Western Youth Little League and also volunteered as a coach for numerous youth football, basketball, and baseball teams. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, playing golf, fishing, swimming, and cycling.
